Sister restaurant Nora Gray has been a stalwart Italian fine dining eatery for awhile, this more casual setup is a bit more accessible and is a great way to line your stomach as you start an evening of over indulgence.

A simple but incredibly effective watering hole. No frills, but stiff drinks and shots served by rambunctious staff is their specialty. Affectionately known as Don Tony in our imaginations, this pillar of the neighbourhood owns and operates his namesake coffee shop and neighbouring NYC style pizza parlour with the help of his family and local celebrities. Visit the coffee shop for a hot one and fresh baked goods, or visit Adamo for a serious slice of ‘za and a game of foosball. In both cases you’ll be greeted with a smile and probably need to elbow around neighbourhood cool cats milling about the popular local hangouts.

Owners Reagan Steinberg and Alex Cohen meld their Jewish heritage to offer a must try experience regardless of your faith. Doesn’t seem like a natural fit but try telling that to the handsome and charming shop keeps who have hit home runs on both accounts. The professional cold creamers highlight seasonal Quebec ingredients to make mouth watering frozen treats (best enjoyed between two homemade cookies) and their ramen broth is vegan based to accommodate all. Regardless of the season, make sure to grab one of their specialties.
